What we scan. Reflective (flat/paper artwork or originals) or film, both slides and negatives, saved in the file format of your choice.
How large of an original? Our largest scanner has a 12” x 17” bed.
Resolution: Up to 12,800 dpi
What's included. Each image is scanned on a flatbed scanner, looked at individually and cropped with minor color correction or adjustment. Slides are usually scanned from 2400-3200 dpi.
Turnaround time depends on our current workload, but less than 25 can usually be done within 2 days.
Costs for various quantities are outlined below. For really large collections, there are more cost-effective options outside of the University. Call or email for some options.
