Can you work with us on design and layout of our project?
A: Yes, we’ll provide all the needed design and production, and provide digital files for the printer.
Will you actually print our project?
A: We don’t have presses at our facility, but we work regularly with several printers and suppliers. We’ll prepare your files and turn them over to the printer who is best-suited to run your job. This will depend on several factors, including how many copies you need, how many colors you’re planning to print, and what your budget or deadline is. We’ll provide an itemized proposal with a breakdown of the production and printing costs.
I know how I want it laid out, but need some help putting it together. Can you help?
A: Yes. Bring in the content you have, perhaps with a rough sketch or sample, and discuss it with one of our designers. We’ll set up files that a commercial printer can print from.
What should I bring in to get started?
A: Save your copy in an MS Word or text file. Bring in any illustrations or photos you would like to include. If you have photos or illustrations saved in a digital format, bring those also.
Will my digital files or photos work?
A: It depends on several factors, including the resolution. Requirements are different for various printers and output devices. We’ll review and evaluate them for print use when we determine who’ll be printing your job. Generally, images pulled from Web sites aren’t of high enough quality for print work.
Can we charge the entire project to a UGA account or grant?
Yes, we’ll provide an itemized invoice that also includes any charges from outside suppliers.
